iSniper 3D Free
iSniper is a pretty awesome shooter game that sends you on several different military missions. The game has received great overall reviews from most downloaders. It has all the basics such as scope zoom, and you can choose from a couple of different guns.
Once in scope view, you can focus/pan around on your enemy by tilting the iPod touch. Aim for the head and shoot first with this game, because their are other snipers gunning for you as well.
Adrenaline Pool Lite
Although an iPod Touch screen is roughly 1/400 the size of a regulation pool table (give or take several hundred), Adrenaline Pool Lite does offer a cool way to play a quick game of pool, from just about anywhere. It’s free to download, and you can play as many games as you want. No having to put $1.00 in the coin slot for each game.
Virtual Dice
It would probably be wrong to charge for an app this simple. Virtual Dice is a basic dice game app that lets you choose to play with one or several dice.
Live Poker
Live Poker is a bit more complex than virtual dice. It even has some unique features, that you won’t even find with Pokerstars or Full Tilt. For example, you can order food. Why you would want to do that? Who knows. Maybe to give a more “casino like” experience?
Either way, this game is pretty decent and features cool graphics and solid gameplay. You are matched up with different players, who have also downloaded the app. Thus, no playing against a computer. You can choose to play tournaments, or one game at a time, by using sit-and-go play.
Chess Free and Checkers Free
I prefer chess. Either way, they are both classic games. Chess Free and Checkers Free are developed by the same company, Optime Software.
Zombie Farm
Zombie Farm is one of the higher ranked, free games out there. Farmville – Horror Version? The goal of the game is to build and maintain your zombie farm. Throughout the game, you will need to complete challenges in order to earn brains and gold. Once you have enough brains and gold, you can buy zombies, potatoes, and turnips.
Unblock Me Free
Given the strong amount of positive reviews, this game is much more fun than it looks. The best thing about Unblock Me, is that it has several difficulty levels and stages. Many free games seem to limit you. It should take you at least a couple of hours to get through all features of this game, unless you are a puzzle master.
Maze Finger
Maze Finger is about as basic as you can get with the iPod Touch/iPhone’s touch screen. Make your way through the maze, keeping your finger as steady as possible. The only catch is, you run out of time very quickly. The effects on this game are pretty wicked, for as simple as it is.
Tap Tap Revenge 3
Tap Tap Revenge is probably one of the most well known iPod Touch/iPhone apps on the market. Basically, it’s a “Guitar Hero” interfaced game, where you tap the notes as they scroll down the screen. Notably, Tap Tap Revenge has some great tracks: K$SHA, Black Eyed Peas, Smashing Pumpkins, and more.
Cube
Cube is another shooter game. Unlike iSniper, Cube allows you to explore different levels, and get up close and personal with the enemy. The graphics on this game aren’t great. However, it’s’ still a pretty fun app.
