ACER UNVEILS SLIM AMD BASED WINDOWS 7 10-INCH TABLET COMING EARLY 2011
ACER UNVEILS AMD BASED WINDOWS 7 10-INCH TABLET COMING EARLY 2011  posted about the new 7-inch and 10-inch Acer Android tablets that are coming in April of 2011, but now let’s look at a 10-inch Windows 7 tablet that is coming in February of 2011. The yet to be named/priced tablet is said by Acer to run on a AMD chip and come with Windows 7 OS.

Acer also announced the device will come with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity support built-in to the tablet. The tablet will feature dual cameras, one front facing and one rear facing camera both are 1.3MP. The tablet will weigh just 2.2 pounds and measure just 0.6″ thick. Acer also stated the 10.1-inch tablet will come with a dock that will feature a full-sized keyboard.


Acer has released some 3d renders of what the tablet will look like but they didn’t bring this tablet to the big press event today. Check out the images below.
Update: We have just found info that the tablet will in fact run a dual-core AMD Bobcat processor from the upcoming Ontario platform of processors.
