Ovi Files to Shut Down on October 15 though 200,000 new Ovi users added everyday.Nokia has announced that it will shut down its "Ovi Files" service by October 15.
The service, which allowed users to upload files to a server,
will wind up on the said date. Nokia is requesting users of the service to uninstall the Ovi Files Connector program installed on the user's computer. Nokia also assures that the user would not lose any saved files as a result of this action and will find all the files previously stored in Ovi Files on their PC. Nokia, in a statement, adds,"Going forward, you can easily manage content between your phone and computer using the Nokia Ovi Suite PC software."
