Specification LG enV Touch (Verizon Wireless)
The bad: The LG enV Touch's touch-screen interface could use some refinement, and the Web browser experience is not as smooth as we would like. Visual Voice Mail and corporate e-mail cost additional monthly fees. The lack of Wi-Fi is disappointing.
The bottom line: The LG enV Touch's combination of great design and top-notch features makes it one of the top Verizon Wireless phones we've ever seen.
Review The LG Shine II
The bad: The LG Shine II's controls and keypad aren't very intuitive and the signal strength was somewhat patchy.
The bottom line: The LG Shine II isn't a top-notch performer, but its sturdy metal build and broad feature set will attract some people.
Spec RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 (AT&T)
The bad: The BlackBerry browser lags behind the competition in terms of usability and features. You can only download apps to the phone's main memory.
The bottom line: Though Web browsing is not its forte, the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 is one of the most powerful and best messaging smartphones in AT&T's lineup.
Review spec Apple iPhone 3GS - 32GB - black (AT&T)
The bad: The iPhone 3GS' call quality shows no improvements and the 3G signal reception remains uneven. We still don't get Flash Lite, USB transfer and storage, or multitasking.
The bottom line: The iPhone 3GS doesn't make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.

Cool Motorola Droid Ads Hit Europe
Cool Motorola Droid Ads Hit Europe
The Droid is coming to Europe with a much less appealing name: the Milestone.
The ads are equally boring, we think: this one, posted to Motorola’s YouTube channel, promotes an “immersive web experience”, “cinematic quality” and other yawners.
What you won’t get: explosions, alien invasions, or even the Droid’s demonic eye of doom. Sorry, fellow Europeans, looks like we missed out this time.

Canon EOS 7D (body only)
Canon basically ceded the entry-level pro performance market to Nikon in 2005 with the arrival of the D200; since then, Canon's 30D, 40D, and 50D have taken the slower but less-expensive road, with a relatively stagnant AF system, that Nikon leapfrogged. But with entirely new AF and metering systems, a new high-resolution eight-channel readout sensor coupled with dual Digic 4 image processors and a new 100 percent coverage viewfinder, plus 1080p video capture, the 7D looks like an aggressive attempt to make a comeback.
In addition to a body-only version, Canon sells the 7D in a kit with the 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS lens (44.8-216mm equivalent). I'm not really fond of it, though, and if you're looking for a starter kit, I'd recommend the newer 15-85mm f3.6-5.6 IS USM lens (28.8-136mm equivalent) instead. It's a lot more expensive and a bit shorter, but I think it's a significantly better lens.
One of the heavier single-grip dSLRs available, there are no radical design departures in the 7D but there are tons of subtle, and a few conspicuous, interface changes that greatly enhance the fluidity of the camera's operation. The new viewfinder is great, comparable with that of the D300s: big and bright, with an optional overlay grid. It's also slightly more comfortable than the D300s' because of the larger eyecup. (Since I didn't get to take the camera to Antarctica to test its weather sealing, cold resistance and ruggedness, I'd follow Ole Jørgen Lioden's testing on that, if you're interested.)
Adding to its traditional array of buttons for metering, white balance, autofocus, drive mode, ISO sensitivity, and flash compensation the 7D now includes an M-Fn button used to cycle through the AF point options, plus Canon brings the LCD illumination button into action for registering the orientation-linked AF points. Unfortunately, the buttons are very difficult to differentiate by feel, and the M-Fn and illumination buttons are even smaller and harder to use than the others. Following trends in consumer dSLR design, the 7D now also has an interactive control panel for changing frequently accessed settings, called up with the Q button. Though I generally prefer buttons and switches for quick access, the control panel is ultimately easier to use than trying to differentiate between the small buttons on the top of the camera without looking.
By adding a specific switch with start/stop button for Live View and Movie capture modes, Canon removed a lot of the operational ambiguity of the 5D Mark II (where you have to have a custom setting enabled just to trigger Live View, for example), and allows the Playback button to function normally, unlike the D300s. It definitely adds to the usability of these modes. More subtle enhancements include an updated switch for the thumbwheel lock and the odd addition of a silver ring on the thumbwheel. The joystick remains unchanged, but I think its design could've stood some tweaking; it's still a bit too easy to accidentally push up when you're trying to go left or right.
Touch-screen smartphones
You can now zoom in and out of Web pages with the pinch of your finger, and drag and drop icons to customize your Home screen. And it's not just HTC and Apple; more and more cell phone manufacturers, including Palm and Samsung, are jumping on the bandwagon and developing new touch interfaces that let you interact with your smartphone in a totally different way. Touch-screen smartphones certainly aren't for everyone, but if you're in the market for one, here are six of the hottest models today. CORSAIR FLASH VOYAGER GT 128 GB
Then what is the secret of speed for this gigantic flash? Corsair uses a dual-controller design to maximize the speed of reading and writing MLC NAND memory contained therein.
Even Corsairs claim that this flash is capable of reading and writing at the speed of 32.6MB / s and 28MB / s. If so, of course, would make the product as Flasdisk fastest on the market today.

How to to get a Google Wave invite (even if you didn’t sign up earlier)
Wave is the latest product that Google is doing, it responds to the many websites that have come to visit and also directly to the many possibilities of the Internet. Currently people share through mails, twitter or google reader found their information. Students also use Blackboard to post improved versions together online in order to put an end to come.
Google has the wave approach to all these services together, this means that the concept of contacts will get a very different meaning. Suppose you create a word document, or in this case, google docs document and invite 3 of your project directly benefited from by dragging their names to the document. In this way it allows this document to adapt and extend. If you are not logged in awhile and you see the document, you see immediately what is adjusted by means of highlighting.
Or imagine you want to organize some fotoalbumpje a track, then drag the photos you do from your computer to your browser. Then drag the friends who may also have to add so here and at home immediately, anyone can view and save again.
Through these capabilities will cooperate fully on the network can change and be more interactive. So have far less mails sent since you can leave little messages to the project. Sure social media continue to exist and mails are required, but it may soon all be arranged from 1 spot.
Brilliant concept, too bad that Google Wave so onerous for the javascript engine that Internet Explorer can not and everything shakes and failed. This is obviously crazy, since the rest of the browsers that handle it. So we will just agree to say that IE is not on the (high) demands of Google. There is one solution, namely a plugin for IE, but the opinions here are still quite divided on.
Unfortunately I did not invite, but once I've worked with it comes an update! Description: How to to get a Google Wave invite (even if you didn’t sign up earlier) Rating: 4.5 Reviewer: sms ItemReviewed: How to to get a Google Wave invite (even if you didn’t sign up earlier)

NEW REVIEW Norton Internet Security 2010 (1 User, 3 PCs)
The good: Norton Internet Security 2010 treads surprisingly lightly CPU power, while bolstering last year's reputation-based detection engine with a new behavioral-detection system.
The bad: Despite dramatic performance improvements during the past two years, Norton still doesn't leave the smallest footprint on your CPU, and new efficacy results show that while it continues to be in the top five apps at detecting malicious software, it still doesn't have the highest rate of detection.
The bottom line: Norton Internet Security 2010 builds on the immense progress it made in last year's version, maintaining a low system profile while strengthening its security framework. It's not perfect, but even Symantec's detractors should check it out.

DemoFall 2009
Emo Labs makes good sound from clear plastic.
(Credit: Rafe Needleman/CNET)
Emo Labs has invented a way to send high-quality sound through a clear, flat panel that can be place on top of a flat-screen TV or a computer monitor. The demo rocked and the business is straightforward: Sell technology licenses to Sony, Panasonic, Apple, etc. Great demo, great tech, great business. Read more.
The most disruptive business was Cortera, which I called "dullest of Demo" in my writeup on Tuesday. This company does credit ratings for business. Stay awake, though: it's a $42 billion global business dominated in the U.S. by Dun & Bradstreet. Cortera's system is cheaper to run and makes for much less expensive reports for users. It could expand the market for credit reporting to more businesses and win a financially significant portion of the market, too. Read more.
Point of Wealth: Your money checks in.
(Credit: Rafe Needleman/CNET)
Another financial play, Point of Wealth makes a "reverse ATM" that lets people who are paid in cash deposit their money to cover bills, pay into retirement funds, and top up prepaid credit cards. It's a good service for the "unbanked," as they say, and a solid business. It will take a small fee (in the $1 to $2 range) for each transaction. Read more.
More television viewing is moving to the Web, and Twirl TV adds a social layer to that activity. A compelling and simple viewer for streaming available online TV shows, it also makes it easy to start conversations on Facebook about those shows. You can also see what your friends are watching and if they haven't watched the latest show you like, and give them a hard time about it either way. It's the selection of content combined with a user experience that's no more complicated than it needs to be that makes it work. Read more from Venture Beat.
Zorap was one of several video chat services introduced at Demo, but it looks like the easiest and most enjoyable to use of the bunch. While the demo showed the product being used as a fun family chat room, it also showed how it made it very easy to share pictures, videos, and files with participants--which is valuable for people in business as well. The product lacks sufficient security layers for the workplace at the moment, but layer that in and you've got a fun, easy, and capable tool for real-time sharing and conversation.
